Many SUVs are developed on the body of a light truck, which means that many light truck tires will also fit SUVs as well, and vice versa. With a CUV, the body of the car is not built on a light truck frame. Instead, it is built on a car frame, which makes it lighter overall than either a light truck or an SUV. Many CUVs will take the same tire size as a sedan.
