What's new to the 2024 Ram 1500
As it stands, the only major change comes in the powertrain realm, with the Ram 1500 nixing its once optional V8 diesel engine The diesel engine is no longer available.
Performance
The big change to the 2024 Ram 1500 comes in the form of the removal of the V8 diesel engine. Now, the Ram 1500 is solely available with gas engines. The base engine that comes standard with the Ram 1500 is a 3.6-liter V6 that makes 305 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque. If you're a Lawrenceville, NJ driver interested in a bit more power, we offer a 5.7-liter V8 that makes 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. If you're willing to jump to the top-level TRX trim, then there's another engine available, which is a 6.2-liter V8 supercharged engine that makes 702 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. All engines work with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard while all-wheel drive is an optional upgrade (all-wheel drive also comes standard with certain trims). Additional performance features can be had by stepping to some off-road-oriented trims. The Rebel and TRX are both optional off-road trims, with the TRX fitting in as the most capable of the two. Technology
The Ram 1500 makes it easy to stay entertained and connected while on the go thanks to an impressive set of standard and optional tech features. The Tradesman trim comes standard with a 5-inch touchscreen display, Bluetooth connectivity, and a 6-speaker audio system. The Laramie trim is an excellent option for Lawrenceville, NJ drivers interested in upping the tech. The Laramie trim replaces the standard infotainment display with an 8.4-inch display.
